The UMC provides medical services to both students and staff of the University of Plymouth. We hope you enjoy your time at the University and we will be happy to see you if and when the need arises.

If you are coming back to the UMC and have previously registered with us you may only have to change your details.  If this is the case, please give us a call on 01752 222341 option 2 to enable us to check for you.

Why register with Beaumont Villa?

• We are ideally placed on campus and in the St. Judes area of Plymouth
   
• We are able to see students at both the University Medical Centre (UMC) and Beaumont Villa Surgery (BVS), the main surgery has extended opening hours on a Monday, Friday and Saturday
   
• Beaumont Villa and Peverell Park have been with working with the UoP providing student care for over 20 years, we are all keen to ensure the highest standards of medical care during your time at University
   
• We have an active role with the University and you will see us at events such as Freshers, health promotion days and talks regarding travel vaccinations for field trips

Why register early?

You don't know when you may need us. It can take a month for your notes to get to us from your previous doctor and then they have to be entered onto our system. When you want your travel vaccinations or repeat medication we will need this information to hand. Registering early will help us to speed this process up.

Where are we?

Access to the surgery

The surgery lies on the edge of the university campus, at the junction of North Road East and Endsleigh Place. It is best to walk there as there is no parking at the practice. There is disabled access to the building. Please click on the University of Plymouth box to view a campus map.
